Reference audio systems call for reference units The Rotel RC-1590MKII is just that - a reference preamplifier that reproduces analog and digital sources with great naturalness on a wide and open stage with impressive clarity.

The heart of the RC-1590MKII is a power supply with two Rotel-made toroidal transformers. The transformers are physically and electrically isolated from each other and separately source the supply voltages for the analog and digital circuitry via low-ESR slit-foil capacitors that eliminate unwanted distortion and provide an extremely low noise floor.

The digital input signals are processed with an audiophile-quality 32-bit/384 kHz Texas Instruments digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with carefully tuned external audio filters to reproduce even the finest details with exceptional clarity and precise localization.

The analog signal paths feature DIRECT-PATH bypass modes to bypass non-essential circuitry, preserve full signal integrity, and provide even better rejection of unwanted glitches and distortions. This allows you to immerse yourself even more deeply and intensively in your music.

The RC-1590MKII offers a wide range of inputs to connect your favorite sources. These include an MM phono input for vinyl lovers, analogue, digital, balanced XLR inputs, wireless aptX™ and Bluetooth AAC in high quality, and PC-USB (32-bit/384kHz) with MQA support and Roon certification.

Double RCA and XLR outputs allow maximum flexibility and the construction of bi-amping systems. A subwoofer output is also available.
