The Rotel RB-1552 MKII is a powerful and robust Class A / B stereo power amplifier with a full 130 watts per channel into 8 ohms. With the ROTEL Balanced Design Concept, details are given the highest attention when developing a device. Every aspect of a design is carefully considered; the result is the highest audiophile fidelity. This starts with the oversized power supply, based on an extremely powerful toroidal transformer and leads via selected, bipolar output transistors with high current resistance. The circuit topology is optimized in complex processes until the acoustic results are simply optimal.
The Rotel RB-1552 MKII has channel-separated voltage regulation stages; their structure consists of two separate monoblocks. The highly valued BHC 'Slit-Foil' capacitors with extremely short charging and discharging times ensure that even the most powerful musical impulses are full of dynamism. Either balanced XLR or unbalanced cinch sockets serve as AF inputs.
