High-quality hi-fi sound in a compact format: The Pro-Ject CD Box E
Audiophile music enjoyment enters the entry-level segment with the CD Box E. This dedicated CD player combines proven technology with elegant design and brings your favorite CDs to their full potential.
Stylish design and robust workmanship
A sophisticated front panel made of brushed and anodized aluminum lends the device the same timeless aesthetic that already distinguishes the higher-end S, DS, and RS model series. The visual concept is a successful homage to the original Pro-Ject CD box. The high-quality aluminum front is complemented by a robust metal housing that effectively shields against mechanical vibrations and electromagnetic interference.
Pure CD performance for unadulterated sound
Specialized audio hardware makes the crucial difference compared to conventional DVD or Blu-ray players. A genuine Red Book CD drive rests on a shock-resistant mount and guarantees precise, bit-perfect 1:1 reading of the disc.
Precise signal conversion is ensured by a high-resolution 24-bit/192 kHz DAC with multi-bit delta-sigma architecture. This low-jitter design delivers a detailed and natural sound. To prevent signal loss from connected cables, the CD Box E features an output buffer with exceptionally low output impedance. For flexible system expansion, a coaxial S/PDIF output allows the connection of an external converter.
