Pro-Ject BT-Box S2 HD Bluetooth Box

The Pro-Ject BT Box S2 HD is a modern high-definition Bluetooth® receiver that takes wireless music streaming to a new level of quality. Thanks to the latest technologies such as Bluetooth® 5.0 and the high-resolution aptX® HD codec, wireless playback is significantly more precise, detailed, and dynamic than with conventional Bluetooth connections.

Thanks to the higher transmission bandwidth of Bluetooth® 5.0, the aptX® HD codec can fully demonstrate its strengths. Even with a briefly weaker connection, playback remains stable and sonically convincing. Typical compression artifacts of many other Bluetooth codecs are significantly reduced, resulting in more natural and clear music reproduction.

High-quality signal processing

To ensure that the wirelessly received signal can reach its full potential in the subsequent hi-fi chain, the BT Box S2 HD is equipped with a dedicated analog output buffer stage. This high-quality circuitry ensures stable signal transmission to the connected amplifier or active speakers and contributes significantly to clean and dynamic sound reproduction.

In addition to the analog RCA output, an optical digital output is also available. This allows the Bluetooth receiver to be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of hi-fi setups – both with integrated amplifiers and with external DACs.

Fast connection and convenient use

The BT Box S2 HD also impresses in everyday use with its uncomplicated operation. Connecting to a smartphone, tablet, or laptop takes only a few seconds. The device can also store up to eight different source devices, allowing frequently used devices to be quickly reconnected.

With a range of up to ten meters, the receiver offers ample freedom of movement within the room. The included antenna ensures a stable wireless connection.

Compact design in a box-like format

Typical of Pro-Ject's compact components, the BT Box S2 HD is housed in a high-quality aluminum casing. Its minimalist design integrates seamlessly into existing Pro-Ject systems and is available in silver or black.
