Black Edition Upgrade – Preserving proven features, technology at the highest level
You don't want to buy a new AVM device because you're completely satisfied with your existing components? You don't have to. With the AVM Black Edition Upgrade, selected components of the Evolution Line receive a comprehensive technical modernization and benefit from the latest developments of the Black Edition – without having to part with your familiar device.
Interior innovations
As part of the upgrade, your AVM component will be equipped with the latest Black Edition technologies and brought up to the most current technical standard. This includes, among other things, the new Black Edition tube module, an optimized power supply, and other exclusive enhancements that raise sound quality, performance, and reliability to a new level.
The original character of your device remains unchanged, even visually. Only the subtle "Black Edition" laser engraving on the casing lid hints at the technical upgrade. For those who wish to add a personal touch, custom color and surface finishes are available upon request. Just ask us.
Upgradeable models
The Black Edition upgrade is available for the Evolution Line models CS, AS, PAS, and MP of the .3 generation from all production years. Units in the 5.3 series with a tube module receive the complete Black Edition features. Models of the 3.3 generation are simultaneously upgraded to the technical specifications of the current 5.3 generation. This allows, for example, a CS 3.3 to be converted into a CS 5.3 Black Edition economically and easily – including all the technical improvements of the current generation.
