The affordable entry into the Grado pickup sound world
The two smallest pickups in the Prestige series, Black 3 and Green 3, offer record lovers the cheapest access to the Grado soundscape. The high output voltage makes these systems particularly interesting for inexpensive MM phono inputs. Thanks to the 5.0mV output voltage and the moving iron principle typical of Grado, the highest musicality is guaranteed. Grado's 17 percent lower generator weight results in an excellent frequency response and detailed reproduction that is unparalleled in this price range. The two models Black 3 and Green 3 have a three-part OTL needle carrier, coils made of oxygen-free copper and an elliptically cut diamond. Grado Green 3 is selected by measurement during production. It is the exquisite variant of the Black 3 - only 15 preocent of the pickups receive the Green status.
