GENTLE HEIGHTS

The TAM tweeter is a Focal innovation, manufactured by Focal in France. It offers a wide dispersion angle and excellent sound definition without directional characteristics. It consists of an inverted dome diaphragm made of aluminum/magnesium with an "M" profile and delivers perfect harmonic balance and detailed highs with exceptional finesse and clarity.

DESIGN AND FINISH

The Aria Evo X series loudspeakers (floorstanding, bookshelf, and center speakers) are available in three finishes: Black High Gloss, Prime Walnut, and Moss Green High Gloss. The leather-look fronts, combined with these finishes, lend the products elegance and character. The magnetic fabric mounts included with the speakers ensure ideal and discreet integration into living spaces.

PERFECTLY DEFINED MIDTONES

The TMD surround with harmonic damping is a patented Focal innovation that enhances the midrange and eliminates all unwanted vibrations. Midrange control is determined by the suspension between the rigid structure of the speaker chassis and the moving diaphragm. Thanks to the expertise of Focal's acousticians, the TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) technology provides a solution that stabilizes the suspension, improving tonal homogeneity and sonic neutrality.

FLAT MEMBRANE

The flax diaphragm, patented by Focal and manufactured in their workshops, is a sandwich of French flax fiber sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass. It fulfills all the criteria of a hi-fi diaphragm: it is lightweight to offer good dynamics, rigid to retain bass, and damped to deliver a neutral, natural, and uncolored sound, as well as rich midrange reproduction and powerful low-frequency punch.
