Bowers & Wilkins CCM 632
This small built-in ceiling loudspeaker has been specially developed for use in small rooms or for difficult installation situations. It can also be used in groups to provide large rooms with background music. The development was not easy because if a driver is too small, it cannot produce any bass. A separate, bulky subwoofer would therefore be necessary.
A 2-way loudspeaker offers an alternative, in which the tweeter is installed in front of the woofer/midrange driver. This in turn means discolouration in the reproduction. The new Bowers & Wilkins CCM632 therefore consists of a single, beautifully balanced 75mm full-range speaker that circumvents the usual problems of a small speaker. It does not require more than 150mm for assembly.
The new CCM632 uses Bowers & Wilkins' newly developed ZipDogsTM attachment method. Installation is therefore possible in next to no time with almost any mounting plate thickness. The loudspeaker has an integrated housing and is supplied in pairs.
The scope of delivery includes square and round speaker grilles with narrow frames that are held in place magnetically.
