Bowers & Wilkins CCM 632
This small in-ceiling speaker was specifically designed for use in small rooms or difficult installation situations. Multiple speakers can also be used to provide background music in large rooms. Development was not easy, because if a driver is too small, it cannot produce bass. A separate, bulky subwoofer would be necessary.
An alternative is a 2-way speaker, but in this case, the tweeter is mounted in front of the woofer and midrange. This, in turn, results in coloration in the reproduction. The new Bowers & Wilkins CCM632 therefore consists of a single, wonderfully balanced-sounding 75mm full-range driver, which avoids the typical problems of a small speaker. It requires no more than 150mm for mounting.
The new CCM632 utilizes Bowers & Wilkins' newly developed ZipDogs™ mounting method, allowing for quick and easy installation on virtually any mounting plate thickness. The speaker features an integrated cabinet and is sold in pairs.
The scope of delivery includes square and round speaker grilles with narrow frames that are held in place magnetically.
