The development goal for the B80 was to create an acoustically outstanding and at the same time elegant loudspeaker system that, despite its impressive size, can be integrated into almost any living environment. For many years B80 & B80MKII enjoyed great popularity due to their high quality. We have secured the few remaining models for you.
Compared to its predecessor, the B80, the crossover has been improved for the B80 MK2, thereby expanding the tonal spectrum in the low-frequency range. In addition, the ribbon tweeter received a new sound guide, which makes the overtones sound more spatially spread out and even silkier. The look, feel and the proven membrane and magnet technologies were retained. Just like the high tonal neutrality of the original B80 and its fascinating resolution when reproducing voices and instruments. Two side-mounted 210 mm woofers with extremely stable fiberglass membranes ensure deep, tight and cleanly contoured bass with above-average lifting capacity and powerful magnets. The midrange speakers, modified according to Burmester specifications, impress with crystal-clear magnesium membranes and their patented magnet technology to reduce non-linear distortion. They make the finest musical nuances audible, but can also display an unparalleled temperament when necessary. The ribbon tweeter sets highlights in the highest listening area, because its drive magnet has athletic forces that effortlessly set the light and vital Kaladex film membrane into the desired vibrations
