Three 7-inch woofers for depth, pressure and control

In the low and mid-frequency range, the SONIK 9 uses three 7-inch drivers developed exclusively for this model. The larger diaphragm area and powerful dual magnet systems ensure a focused magnetic field, low losses, and additional dynamic reserves.

Combined with Clarity-Cone™ technology made from paper and wood fibers, resonances are effectively controlled. The result is a bass that remains not only deep and powerful, but also precise and defined. Low frequencies gain weight and authority without overpowering the midrange.

Hybrid tweeter for brilliant highs and wide dispersion

A key element of the SONIK 9 is the DALI hybrid tweeter, consisting of a 29 mm low-loss soft dome tweeter and a planar magnetostatic tweeter. This combination enables exceptionally fine high-frequency resolution with wide dispersion.

The finest details, overtones, and spatial information are reproduced clearly and transparently. Even at high volumes, the highs remain clean, open, and natural. Thanks to the even dispersion, you enjoy a consistent sound image across a wide listening area.

Clarity-Cone™ Technology – natural mids without discoloration

Inspired by DALI KORE technology, Clarity-Cone™ technology ensures exceptionally homogeneous tuning between bass, midrange, and treble. Controlled diaphragm movement creates a seamless transition between the individual drivers.

Voices are reproduced realistically, clearly, and without distortion. Instruments retain their natural timbre, while the overall sound is cohesive and balanced – regardless of music genre or volume.

SMC™ Essential Magnet System – Precision even at high power

The patented SMC™ Essential Magnet System is a crucial factor in the high sound quality of the SONIK 9. By using SMC™ material in the direct area of effect of the voice coil, distortion is reduced and the linearity of the magnet drive is improved.

Hysteresis and eddy current losses are minimized, resulting in a clean, detailed and relaxed midrange reproduction – even in complex sound passages and at high levels.
