The NS-3000 represents a breakthrough in high-fidelity speaker design. As a combination of the latest innovations and unrivaled musical tradition, it faithfully reproduces even the smallest nuances in music.

If the emotional story behind the music is presented in its purest form, a unique connection is created between the music and the artist - this can be clearly felt at live concerts. With the design of the NS-3000, Yamaha wants to ensure one thing above all: As a device through which the artist's voice reaches the listener's ear, the loudspeaker should capture all of the artist's emotions as accurately as possible and convey them to the audience.
ZYLON™ for precise, emotionally charged sound
With ZYLON™ in both modules, the NS-3000 impresses with its seamless transition between low, medium and high frequencies. This remarkable sound continuity across different frequencies creates the highly precise and emotionally charged sound.
FEM analysis and laser measurements for optimal strengthening of the cross piece
The robustness of the housing plays an important role in maintaining the integrity of audio playback. Given the technologies used in the NS-5000, the optimal strengthening of the crosspiece was determined through FEM analysis and laser measurements. This allows the so-called “box ringing” to be suppressed, which occurs due to delayed vibrations from the six surfaces of the housing.
Open sound space
The openness of the sound space allows the artist to be staged as if he were standing in person in the living room. Equipment and space fade into the background and make room for the artist and his performance. In this open sound space, audience and artist meet, and the listener is completely immersed in the music. The Yamaha speakers are designed to blend into the background and leave the stage space to the artist alone.
RS chambers for resonance suppression reduce annoying vibrations
True to its lineage, the NS-3000 adopted the tweeter from the NS-5000. The RS chamber on the back of the tweeter suppresses tube resonance, which causes the diaphragm to move and can therefore affect precise sound reproduction.
Optimized acoustic absorber
The new Acoustic Absorber, specially developed for the NS-3000, reduces the effects of standing waves inside, so that less sound-absorbing material is required. This means that the full energy of the music is retained undimmed.
Crossover with high-quality components
As befits a top-of-the-line product, the NS-3000 features crossovers of the highest quality. The audio capacitor MCap® SUPREME EVO from the German company Mundorf is considered a top capacitor for audio devices and is used in parallel with the extremely large voice coil of the woofer.
Solid brass speaker connectors
Constructed from solid brass, the speaker terminals ensure absolute signal integrity with highly secure connections. Thanks to their shape, they fit comfortably in the hand and can be tightened effortlessly.
