The Grado Statement4 cartridge is a low-output system specifically designed for use with high-quality, high-gain phono preamplifiers. Its sound is characterized by an exceptional balance of precision and musicality.
The finest details are reproduced clearly and faithfully, without sounding analytical. The highs remain smooth and natural, while the midrange impresses with its presence, body, and expressiveness. The bass is precisely controlled and well-defined, providing a solid foundation for any recording.

Shibata diamond and boron needle carrier for maximum precision
For tracking vinyl records, the Grado Statement4 uses a high-quality nude Shibata diamond stylus mounted on a precision-machined boron cantilever. This combination ensures exceptionally accurate groove tracking, high detail fidelity, and outstanding dynamics.
The boron cantilever impresses with its low weight and high rigidity, which makes the system respond particularly quickly and reproduce even the finest musical information precisely.
High-purity 7N OCC copper and cryogenic treatment
The Statement4 uses only high-purity 7N OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) copper inside. This material ensures extremely low-loss signal transmission and maximum conductivity.
Each pickup also undergoes cryogenic treatment during manufacturing and final assembly. This process stabilizes the material structure and sustainably optimizes the sonic performance.
A specially developed internal damping system reduces unwanted resonances and vibrations to a minimum. This ensures that the musical signal remains clear, coherent, and dynamic.
Case made of Brazilian ebony
The Grado Statement4 cartridge's housing is made of exquisite Brazilian ebony. Besides its exclusive appearance, the wood significantly contributes to acoustic optimization by controlling resonances and supporting tonal balance.
The design was further optimized for low weight and high compatibility with a wide range of high-quality tonearms. At the same time, the shape facilitates precise cartridge alignment during setup.
