Features:
The 2MR Red features an elliptical diamond tip and split pole pins with a copper wire. The motor offers increased output power of 5.5 mV and optimized sound reproduction and a high level of acoustic accuracy.
Designed for easy assembly, this cartridge is the appropriate weight and size to fit most standard turntables on the market. The 2MR series offers excellent compatibility for use in various playback systems and with a wide range of phono stages.
The 2MR Red delivers an open, dynamic sound with a hint of warmth.

Interchangeable stylus unit:
The 2MR Red's stylus unit is interchangeable and can be used with the 2M Blue and 2M Silver. With proper care, the lifespan of the stylus is up to 1000 hours. For more information about stylus care, see our FAQ.
2M Series Compatibility:
The 2MR series motors, coils and magnet configurations are not identical. The 2MR Red and 2MR Blue are identical, as are the 2MR Bronze and 2MR Black, as well as the true mono variants 2MRMono and 2MR 78. Likewise, the stylus units are interchangeable within the following combinations:
- 2M Red, 2M Blue and 2M Silver
- 2M Bronze and 2M Black
- 2M Mono and 2M 78
