Rega Aphelion 2 MC cartridge
The culmination of decades of engineering, the Rega Aphelion 2 is Rega's fourth generation of unique MC cartridges. Based on the advanced technology of the Apheta 3, the Aphelion 2 takes music reproduction to a whole new level.
With a particularly stiff boron needle carrier and a specially developed fine line diamond cut, the Aphelion 2 captures even the finest details from the record groove. An extremely strong neodymium magnet and the precise, hand-wound cross coil made of ultra-thin fine wire ensure outstanding signal transmission with the highest resolution.
Thanks to its innovative design without tension wire and with minimal moving mass, the Aphelion 2 achieves unparalleled dynamics and transparency. The pickup is embedded in a high-precision, black anodized aluminum carrier , while an ultra-light yellow protective cover protects it from damage.
As a perfect complement to the multi-award-winning Rega Planar 10 and standard equipment on the high-end Rega Naiad model, the Aphelion 2 sets new standards in analogue sound reproduction.
