Gold Note B-7 Ceramic 9-Inch Tonearm

The Gold Note B-7 Ceramic is Gold Note's flagship tonearm, designed to fully exploit the capabilities of high-end turntables and cartridges. This gimbal-mounted 9-inch tonearm combines carefully selected materials such as aluminum, ceramic, titanium, and stainless steel with a precisely engineered construction. The result is exceptionally smooth and accurate tracking, revealing even the finest musical details from the record.

Precision down to the last detail

A key feature of the B-7 Ceramic is the ceramic ball bearings manufactured specifically for Gold Note by GRW in Germany. These high-precision bearings are individually tested and sealed to ensure their long-term integrity. The low friction and precise tonearm guidance create the conditions for exceptionally smooth movement and detailed, unadulterated sound reproduction.

The 12 mm thick titanium tonearm tube features a variable wall structure with six differently sized sections. This design combines high rigidity with precisely controlled resonance behavior. The stylus and tonearm shaft, both made entirely of titanium, also contribute to the precise tracking of the cartridge.

Flexible for different pickups

With an effective length of 242 mm and an overhang of 19 mm, the B-7 Ceramic can be easily installed on high-quality turntables. Its effective moving mass of 10 g allows it to be used with a wide range of cartridges weighing up to 15 g.

The precision-machined stainless steel counterweight is designed for maximum adjustability. Additional weights are available as an option for cartridges with higher mass.

The B-7 Ceramic also offers extensive adjustment options: The tonearm height (VTA) can be adjusted at the plinth, while the azimuth can be adjusted directly at the headshell. Anti-skating is set via a five-position wire mechanism. Furthermore, the hydraulic lift allows for controlled and gentle lowering of the tonearm.

High-quality internal wiring

For signal transmission, Gold Note uses shielded AWG36 hyperstrand cable made of 99.9999% OFC copper. The 1.5-meter-long, custom-designed tonearm cable features a 4-pin DIN-to-RCA connector and is engineered for the highest possible signal transmission.
