Gold Note PH-10 – High-quality phono preamplifier for MM & MC

The Gold Note PH-10 is a high-quality phono preamplifier for moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges, allowing for precise matching to virtually any cartridge system. With nine different input impedances from 10 Ω to 47 kΩ and four selectable gain levels, the PH-10 can be optimally tuned to the specific cartridge.

Two tonearms can be connected simultaneously via the two independent RCA inputs. Individual settings can be saved for each input and conveniently recalled and switched as needed.

For exceptionally versatile playback, a total of six EQ curves are available. In addition to the RIAA curve, Decca London and American Columbia curves can also be selected – each in standard or enhanced versions. The technology developed by Gold Note is based on the equalization curves of historic Neumann cutting lathes and enables particularly authentic and precise reproduction of a wide variety of vinyl recordings.

The switchable infrasonic filter reduces unwanted low-frequency interference and rumble without unnecessarily affecting the actual music signal. Operation is convenient via the 2.8-inch TFT color display and the Single Knob Control (SKC). All settings can be clearly adjusted in real time – even during music playback.

For connection to the audio system, both RCA and balanced XLR outputs are available. Furthermore, the PH-10 can be upgraded with the optional PSU-10 external power supply to further enhance the sonic capabilities of the phono preamplifier.

The solid aluminum housing underscores the high-quality aspirations of the PH-10. This phono preamplifier is handcrafted in Florence, Italy, and is available in black, silver, and gold. Gold Note has stood for exceptional hi-fi components since 2012, combining high-end technology with Italian craftsmanship. The PH-10 comes with a 2-year warranty.
