The concept concept - immerse yourself in the world of vinyl without any prior knowledge

The Concept MC is particularly recommended for classic and jazz lovers, among vinyl fans. The MC takes care of the details as well as the big sound concepts of a big band or an orchestra. Fans of tidy stages with a lot of depth are in good hands with the Concept MC. If you buy a Concept MC, we definitely recommend a good external phono stage. Worth it.

Once the Concept MC has been removed from its well thought-out packaging, the most complex part of the installation is already over. After removing the transport locks (foam on the tonearm, rubber), the strap is placed around the aluminum subplatter. The platter is placed on the sub platter via the mandrel. If the RCA plugs are connected to the phono socket or phono amplifier, all you have to do is plug in the mains plug supplied. Here we go. All settings such as VTA, offset, overhang have already been set at the Erlangen factory. This record player is ready to play and can be put into operation without any prior knowledge.

The core of the running gear body consists of medium-density wood fiber or layers of solid wood compressed under high pressure. The look of the coat is produced in four different colors and structures to match. The top layer of the drive consists of a special satin-finished plastic. This composition makes it possible to minimize resonances. The turntable is driven by a completely decoupled DC motor via a ground flat belt in order to avoid the transmission of noise. The power supply for this takes over a generously dimensioned, highly stable external power supply unit.

The concept tonearm

The tonearm has a wear and maintenance-free magnetic bearing without friction. The combination is completed with the high-quality Clearaudio MM or MC concept pickup (upgrade is possible at any time).

Pickup Concept MC

The Concept MC is the smallest moving coil cartridge from Clearaudio. It was developed for the successful Concept turntable with the purpose of turning an entry-level turntable into a high-quality playback machine. The step there is not very big with the Concept turntable. The additional sound of the Concept MC cannot be denied. The MC plays in more detail conjures up an even wider stage between the speakers. Classical fans or followers of smoky jazz music will get their money's worth with the Concept MC.
