The Concept MM Satisfy is the next step: With the Satisfy Kardan Alu tonearm, this turntable reaches the next level of high-quality playback of your vinyl selection. The soundstage is cleaner, and details are much clearer. The Satisfy tonearm is a classic at Clearaudio. Its simple construction shows that it doesn't always have to be complicated to achieve the goal of optimal reproduction.

Unpack and let's go

Anyone who has freed the Concept from its well thought-out packaging has already completed the most complex part of the installation. After removing the transport locks (foam on the tonearm, rubber), the strap is placed around the aluminum subplatter. The platter is placed on the sub platter via the mandrel. If the RCA plugs are connected to the phono socket or phono amplifier, all you have to do is plug in the mains plug supplied. Here we go. All settings such as VTA, offset, overhang have already been set at the Erlangen factory. This record player is ready to play and can be put into operation without any prior knowledge.

The drive

The core of the running gear body consists of medium-density wood fiber or layers of solid wood compressed under high pressure. The look of the coat is produced in four different colors and structures to match. The top layer of the drive consists of a special satin-finished plastic. This composition makes it possible to minimize resonances. The platter is driven by a completely decoupled DC motor via a polished flat belt in order to avoid the transmission of noise. The power supply for this takes over a generously dimensioned, highly stable external power supply unit.

The Satisfy tonearm

The Satisfy tonearm is an integral part of the Clearaudio range. It has the proven cardanic suspension. This avoids breakouts of the tonearm during the scanning process. A little control is always a good concept. The Satisfy is designed simply and still delivers an outstanding sound result. It is not uncommon for it to be used on much higher quality drives. He raises the Concept turntable to an unimagined level.

Pickup Concept V2 MM

The tonearm is a classic moving magnet pickup that easily joins the ranks of the legendary Clearaudio pickups in terms of quality. Unlike other moving magnet pickups, the needle cannot be removed. If the needle is to be replaced at some point, the complete pickup is sent to Clearaudio and you receive an exchange price for a new Concept V2 MM.
