It gets complicated: Everyone Says Hi is the name of the band that calls their debut album EVERYONE SAYS HI – which is also the title of a David Bowie song from his album Heathen (2002). So far, so good.
Anyone who hears the first song from EVERYONE SAYS HI, Somebody, Somewhere, directly after the Bowie song might assume that it is some kind of answer song... but that's not the case. Just naming the band and their debut after a song by someone who is more famous than Jesus shows a solid level of self-confidence.
Who is this band? It consists of well-known faces from the alternative and popular songwriting guild, such as Nick JD Hodgson (Kaiser Chiefs), Nick Cester (JET) and Justin Parker, who has already written for Rihanna and Lana Del Rey.
