This is actually only for confirmed Jimi Hendrix fans: This compilation gives a nice insight into the artistic work of the exceptional guitarist. Hendrix bought a nightclub in Greenwich Village in New York and had it converted into his studio. The follow-up album to “Electric Lady Land” was created. The recordings were only released posthumously in 1997. On ELECTRIC LADY STUDIOS: A JIMI HENDRIX VISION we find various takes with a special insight into Hendrix’s way of working. As a bonus there is, among other things, the Hendrix version of “Farther up on the road” - after that you'll probably leave the Clapton version in the closet for a while.
