Press release"Still got the Blues": Live concert with Wolfgang Bernreuther at the Auditorium Hamburg

Hamburg, 18 January, 2024 // He is not a man of big words, but prefers to let the strings do the talking: Regensburg musician Wolfgang Bernreuther has been fully committed to the blues for over 30 years. Hardly any other German blues musician shows so much creative diversity in his interpretations, songs and lyrics. To kick off the new year musically on Thursday, 1 February 2024, Erlangen-based phono manufacturer Clearaudio and the Auditorium will be presenting Wolfgang Bernreuther live at the Auditorium Hamburg.

Bernreuther had already discovered his love of the blues at a young age: he was influenced by Mississippi blues guitarist Louisiana Red, with whom he toured for many years and who initiated Bernreuther into the secrets of slide playing. Countless concerts and LP and CD releases made the Regensburg musician internationally famous: Bernreuther released the album "My Style Is Different" with the legendary US-American and now deceased blues and jazz singer Jeanne Carroll, among others.

To mark the 20th anniversary of teamwork, he recorded the album "Still A Fool" in 2023 with Clearaudio, who are also active as music producers and with whom Bernreuther is under contract. "We are looking forward to this evening of concentrated blues power and great playing", says Jan Wagner from Auditorium Hamburg. The concert will be exclusively recorded and released as an LP. Seats are limited, admission costs 15.00 euros. Admission is from 18:30, the concert starts at 19:00.

Tickets are available here via Eventbrite.
