The tried and tested WBT sandwich cable lugs have now received their very special 'nextgen' update. The signal conductor has always been made of pure silver (in the Ag versions) and has a minimalist design. According to the nextgen principle from WBT, the connector body has now been designed to be largely metal-free. Look forward to even more detailed and spacious music reproduction!

The key to the exceptional quality of this cable lug lies in the special construction of the contact fork based on the patented * sandwich principle: Elastomer vibration dampers eliminate airborne and structure-borne noise as well as magnetostrictions. Contact microphony is largely suppressed; there are no disturbing background noises. At the same time, the break resistance of the connection is improved. The sandwich construction, an elastomer inserted into a steel cap, leads to high and even contact pressure and minimizes the contact resistance. Four embossed contact points on the underside of the fork create a precisely defined contact. Signal transmission improves significantly, especially with high currents or low voltages. In order to secure the contact resistance in the long term, the surface of the silver signal conductor is protected against oxidation by a platinum direct coating.

The connection to the cable is made using crimp connection technology. Thanks to the Torx screws equipped with fine threads, the connection is reliable and safe against pulling.

The connector bodies are fully insulated and meet the safety requirements of CE and IEC.
