Excellent mechanics, massive construction and the two-part clamping nut with freely rotatable pressure piece enable a high contact pressure and thus low, constant transition resistance - the prerequisite for minimal sound interference. The elegant design of the pole terminal is supported by the gold-plated, high-gloss surface, which prevents any corrosion.
For this purpose, the pole terminal is polished before gilding, so that a highly durable and abrasion-resistant surface is created.
External connection
- 4mm banana plug
A 4 mm banana plug can be connected to the front part of the clamping nut.
- Cable lugs and crimped cable ends (up to 6 mm²)
With the patented clamping nut system from WBT, cable lugs and crimped cable ends can be connected with high pressure. Thanks to the pavement milling of the bottom of the pressure piece, the connection is permanently and securely held with very low contact resistance. In addition, the shearing of cable strands is prevented if bare cable ends are used.
Internal connection
Cables with a cross-section of up to 10 mm² can be used inside.
WBT recommends the crimp connection technology. With the supplied Torx screws and the Torx T.6 key, crimped cable ends can be perfectly fixed.
However, the connections can also be soldered. WBT then recommends the surface-protecting silver solder WBT-0800 (see also soldering technology).
Installation
Built-in insulation is supplied which, in addition to the insulated one, also ensures a non-twisting installation and pole identification. This also includes lock nuts, double step washers with lugs and puzzle pieces. These puzzle pieces can be clipped into each other. This results in precise terminal spacings of 19 or 30 mm, but above all, absolute protection against rotation. For devices with strong structure-borne noise, such as B. loudspeakers, an additional nut lock should take place, e.g. with the WBT serrated lock washer WBT-9150. When using the spacer WBT-9404, WBT-0730.11 can also be conveniently installed as a double pole terminal with a specified 19mm spacing. Thanks to the snap-in grooves, the inlet opening for connection cables can be rotated in 45 ° steps.
