The WireWorld Helicon OFC speaker cable is a well-thought-out combination of intelligent design, high-quality materials, and practical flexibility. Originally conceived for internal speaker construction, its superior sound has also made it a popular choice for external speakers – a testament to the quality of its construction.
Inside, the proven Dual DNA Helix® design ensures precise and clean signal routing. This sophisticated architecture effectively minimizes distortion and loss, resulting in a clear, dynamic sound with high transparency and detail.
A clear advantage: Compared to the original Helicon 16, this cable has twice as many OFC (oxygen-free copper) strand groups , which lends the sound additional openness and expressiveness. Vocals sound more natural, instruments become more tangible – the music noticeably gains life.
Its everyday usability is also impressive: Thanks to its pleasant flexibility, the cable can be easily laid, even in demanding environments. The 16AWG conductors are easy to strip and work perfectly with the optional WireWorld banana plugs or spade connectors. A definite plus for anyone who values a neat installation.
The outer casing made of Composilex® 5 material provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference and maintains signal purity. This is complemented by crimp contacts with silver and gold plating , ensuring a reliable and low-loss connection.
