032 Integrated Amplifier

The 032 Integrated Amplifier offers extensive connectivity options, far exceeding the capabilities of a typical integrated amplifier. A PRE OUT, for example, allows for the connection of a separate power amplifier or the control of additional listening zones with centrally controlled volume. With its powerful 650 VA power supply, the 032 effortlessly delivers consistently high currents to perfectly drive even large loudspeakers with very low impedance and complex loads. The 032's sound is characterized by excellent spatial resolution and musicality.

design

Optimal cooling is ensured by heat sinks in the typical Burmester design. On the front panel, alongside these characteristic heat sinks, is the chrome-plated control element. This central section, milled from solid brass, encloses the display circuit board and effectively shields it from any unwanted interference affecting the amplifier's audio signal-carrying components. The robust rotary knob switches both channels with absolute synchronization via an incremental encoder.

Handmade

During assembly, the output stage transistors are carefully connected to the generously sized side heat sinks via a solid copper block, which ensures optimal heat dissipation and distribution. The driver stages are mounted on a separate, internal heat sink. This prevents significant temperature fluctuations in the output stage heat sink from shifting the operating points of the driver stages. In the final assembly step, the elegantly chromed control panel is carefully connected to the amplifier's intricate internal components.
