Master Bundle

Masters customers can now enter the Bluesound multiroom world directly. For every combination of the Masters M12 preamplifier with BluOS module and the Masters M22 power amplifier, you will receive a free Bluesound Pulse Mini worth 599 euros.

The Masters series was designed by NAD to demonstrate what is possible today in high-end audio technology. The M12 is much more than just a stereo preamplifier with D/A converter. It is an audio hub for the authentic reproduction of digital sources and achieves superior sound quality and performance with extensive flexibility in use. The M12 establishes a new level of precision for the enjoyment of digital music.

The basis for the extremely clear sound is the 'DirectDigital' process developed by NAD. The Class A buffer allows signal processing in real time - with 24-bit accuracy from the first to the last bit. The asynchronous USB interface processes audio files with up to 24 bits/192 kHz. All functions take place entirely in the digital sphere - thus eliminating all distortions that can occur with analog circuits. The M12 even processes 24-bit files completely losslessly across the entire volume range, so that their outstanding sound quality is fully preserved.

The standard equipment of the M12 includes an extraordinary variety of digital and analog inputs. In addition to digital inputs in the versions AES/EBU, S/PDIF (optical and coaxial) and asynchronous USB with 24 bit/192 kHz, analog sources can be connected symmetrically via XLR or asymmetrically via RCA. A high-performance phono preamplifier enables the connection of a record player with MM or MC system. The pure Class A buffer uses new super operational amplifiers to output the signal either symmetrically via XLR or asymmetrically via RCA for power amplifiers and active loudspeakers. High- and low-pass filters with freely selectable crossover frequencies are available for connecting up to two subwoofers.

All functions can be controlled using the high-quality and programmable HTRM 2 remote control. Using the large touchscreen display, the M12 can be easily configured individually and adapted to the speaker setups. It can also be easily integrated into existing home control systems.

Thanks to the innovative 'Modular Design Construction' (MDC), the M12 is always up to date with the latest possibilities today and in the future: essential components of the preamplifier can be exchanged and updated. If required, for example, the MDC-BluOS network module transforms the M12 into a high-end streaming client. It has an Ethernet connection, an integrated WLAN function and a Bluetooth aptX interface. And the DD-HDM-1 module expands the M12 with three HDMI inputs and one HDMI output (3D video 'pass-through').
