HTM81 D4:
The HTM81 D4 is the large center speaker of the new 800 series. It is perfectly matched to use with the 801 D4 and the 802 D4. The sound quality is excellent and with its bandwidth and mid-range reproduction, the power pack does not need to hide behind its renowned partners.

Midrange enclosure:
To get the most out of the midrange, Bowers & Wilkins uses a sturdy aluminum enclosure. It is the perfect environment for controlled decoupling of the midrange and to prevent unwanted air vibrations in the cabinet.
Aerofoil bass cone:
The new Bowers & Wilkins 800 series aerofoil bass cone is both strong and extremely light. It has a carbon fiber coating and a foam core with a variable profile. It is also equipped with an anti-resonance plug.
Tweeter on top design
The tweeter-on-top design features an even more stretched shape with a longer tube system. This not only looks better, but also makes the sound appear even more open in the high-frequency range. The outer casing is even stiffer. The unusual acoustic form is particularly effective in combination with the new two-point decoupling system, which isolates the housing more effectively than ever from the rest of the loudspeaker.
