The JL Audio Fathom f212v2 is nothing short of the ultimate expression of JL Audio ideals. Due to its high efficiency and its exorbitant performance, it is ideally suited even for very large rooms. The combination of two ultra-long-throw W7 12-inch drivers and an extremely powerful switching amplifier gives it breathtaking performance at any volume.
Featuring the same driver and amplifier technology as our flagship Gotham ® , the f112v2 offers superb sound quality. Low distortion, excellent dynamic capabilities and a shocking bass depth allow you to experience all the excitement of the most demanding footage, while still being able to reproduce all the nuance and texture of your most delicate musical material.
The full range of signal processing features are easily accessible and adjustable on the front of each Fathom. These include a highly flexible low-pass filter, variable phase, switchable polarity, ELF trimming and the powerful Digital Automatic Room Optimization (DARO) system. A calibrated microphone for the DARO system is included. Input connections are via unbalanced RCA/Cinch connectors or balanced Neutrik ® Combo XLR/TRS jacks. Also included is an XLR output for connecting a second Fathom ® as a slave device.
