Innovations at a glance
Multi-sandwich housing with honeycomb structure
The Avantera is a four-way speaker with our multi-sandwich enclosure. in the
Inside, the asymmetrical housing consists of a high-tech honeycomb sandwich. the
Exterior is available with a choice of a glass elastomer or wood veneer panel elastomer
compound disguised. This makes the housing extremely rigid and is characterized by a
very high internal damping. The housing braces are also made of
High-tech honeycomb panels and ceramic foam elements. own sound is with it
excluded.
HHCT III+ tweeter
The Avantera features a mechanically isolated mounting plate for the HHCT III+
tweeter and completely decouples it from the housing.
HHCM SL+ woofer and double surround woofer
The new Audio Physic HHCM SL+ midrange driver works without a spider. The new Audio Physic Double Surround woofers and mid-woofers also work without a conventional spider. Due to the resulting hardly any resistance, these chassis enable a previously unimagined dynamic and resolution.
Audio Physic has also further revised the contacts for the tweeter and midrange and equipped them with WBT Plasma ProtectTM connections. Even the terminal received an overhaul with improved WBT nextgenTM binding posts. All capacitors have been newly developed in long listening sessions and have an innovative
copper foam contacting.
The Audio Physic PowerTrainTM, with its centerless chassis in the heart, as already known from the Cardeas, transfers the kinetic energy in an unexpected and efficient way. This creates an outstandingly natural music reproduction.
