i7-XR – High-performance integrated amplifier with precise music reproduction
The i7-XR offers the same technological excellence as the i9-XR, but with an output power of 2 x 52W at 6Ω – sufficient to drive even larger floorstanding speakers with power. Featuring a wide range of analog and digital inputs, the i7-XR supports virtually any preferred source, lacking only the connection for the optional PSU-XR power supply.
Every amplifier in the XR series is developed from the ground up. The i7-XR benefits from the second-generation QXR DAC, whose reconstruction filters have been completely redesigned. Additionally, the optimized power supply ensures significantly lower noise and an extended dynamic range. The result is a DAC that reconstructs the analog signal with the utmost accuracy and reveals even the finest nuances of the music – ideal for enjoying old favorite recordings in new depth.
The i7-XR's wideband power amplifier operates from DC up to over 100 kHz, ensuring a linear frequency response without unwanted phase shifts in the audible range. Despite a nominal power output of 52 W, the amplifier delivers impressive sonic authority that far exceeds its wattage rating, thanks to its generously dimensioned power supply.
By combining high-quality digital-to-analog conversion, physical inputs for analog, digital and phono sources, and a powerful headphone output, the i7-XR represents a versatile, audiophile solution for any music system.
