The R-Series is an exceptional range of seven loudspeakers designed for superior performance with more detail, deeper insights and greater excitement.

In addition to the groundbreaking metamaterial absorption technology, refined tweeter gap damping, and flexible decoupling chassis, the new R-Meta series also features striking color variations. The new KEF collection, consisting of three floorstanding speakers (R11 Meta, R7 Meta, and R5 Meta), one bookshelf speaker (R3 Meta), two center speakers (R6 Meta and R2 Meta), and one Dolby Atmos speaker (R8 Meta surround speaker), is available in three finishes that complement both traditional and modern interiors: glossy black, glossy white, and walnut veneer.

Revolutionary sound absorption with metamaterial absorption technology (MAT)

The heart of the latest R-Series is the [missing information], a highly complex, labyrinthine structure in which each of the intricate channels efficiently absorbs a specific frequency. Combined, the channels act like an acoustic black hole, absorbing 99% of unwanted sound from the rear of the tweeter, eliminating the resulting distortion and delivering a purer, more natural acoustic performance.

A custom-designed 12th generation Uni-Q driver system with MAT is found in all seven models of the R series, delivering incredibly detailed sound reproduction.

It is the result of decades of in-house experience and the application of state-of-the-art simulation and analysis tools. Numerous developments contribute to the exceptional performance of the R-Series. The exquisite detail and transparency of the R-Series are the result of a series of optimizations and modifications developed specifically for this collection. From the refined tweeter gap damping, which tames resonances and thus improves detail, to the flexible decoupling chassis, which prevents unwanted vibrations and thus ensures greater clarity. The hybrid aluminum woofers deliver tight, deep, and controlled bass, and the improved crossover and finely tuned signal path ensure pristine, clean sound.

These innovations ensure that the R-Series sounds even more transparent and natural than one is used to from this already exceptional series.

A versatile collection

The R-Series comprises seven models, offering users extensive options to assemble their ideal hi-fi system. Whether it's a stereo or a home theater system, you can be sure of enjoying a comprehensive, realistic sound experience.

The three floorstanding speakers R11 Meta, R7 Meta and R5 Meta, as well as the bookshelf speaker R3 Meta, deliver true-to-life stereo sound for your favorite music, regardless of the size of your listening room. Each of them allows you to discover depth and detail you never knew existed – from the wisp of a pick on a guitar string to the emotions and atmosphere of a live performance.

The two center speakers, R6 Meta and R2 Meta, which can also be used in LCR (Left-Center-Right) configurations, ensure brilliant dialogue clarity in home theaters of varying room sizes. Both the center speakers and all other models in the series utilize identically sized Uni-Q drivers. This creates a consistent sound signature, ensuring that the focus remains entirely on the film and not on the other devices in the room.

If you want to experience Dolby Atmos sound, the R8 Meta surround speaker is an ideal addition to the system. It can either be wall-mounted or placed on top of another R-Series speaker to achieve unparalleled 3D sound.

When used in conjunction with a KF92 or KC62 subwoofer from KEF, the entire cinema experience becomes tangible, from the deepest impact to the quietest whisper.

Amazingly elegant loudspeakers

The understated design aesthetic of the R-Series is complemented by carefully selected color options. Almost every model in the R-Series is available in three finishes that blend seamlessly into both traditional and modern interiors: glossy black, glossy white, and walnut.

Two models are also available in special color finishes: the Titanium Gloss Special Edition for the R7 Meta* and the Indigo Gloss Special Edition for the R3 Meta*. The R3 Meta also features threaded inserts that allow the speaker to be securely attached to the top of the KEF S3 stands, which also include integrated cable management and a fillable column.
