The 35 bit signal processing as well as the use of a 108 MHz master clock guarantee the implementation of the highest quality in the context of the current digital technology. With barely measurable distortion and noise values, the C 390DD delivers 160 W minimum power per channel, whereby the automatic impedance adaptation of the Digital Power Drive circuit to the connected loudspeakers ensures optimum performance. If necessary, the Digital Power Drive technology can also dynamically triple the output without any loss of sound. The C 390DD is also equipped with a Room EQ, which enables precise corrections to be made in order to improve the sound in the listening room. In addition to two optical inputs, one optical output, two coaxial inputs, one coaxial output and an AES / EBU input, the C 390DD has an asynchronous USB port that enables music playback from the computer with a resolution of 24 bit / 96 kHz. There are also additional USB interfaces on the front and back for connecting USB memory sticks and / or hard drives.
