The Anthem Statement M1 is an exceptional monoblock amplifier that redefines classic power dimensions. Delivering up to 1000 watts into 8 ohms – in a chassis just 6 cm high – it combines extreme power with high efficiency and a compact design. Developed at the research center in Ottawa and manufactured in Canada, the M1 represents over 30 years of experience in amplifier design.
Class-D reimagined
The Statement M1 is based on a consistently further developed Class-D architecture. The aim was to implement the well-known advantages of this technology – high efficiency, low heat generation and compact design – without the typical sonic limitations.
The result is an amplifier that reproduces an input signal completely and precisely, without relying on subsequent digital corrections or tone-shaping interventions. The frequency response remains largely constant across varying loads, while distortion is kept low even at high power levels.
High performance, stable control
With a continuous output power of 1000 watts into 8 ohms, 2000 watts into 4 ohms, and up to 2400 watts into 3 ohms, the M1 is designed for demanding speaker configurations. Even at low impedances, the system remains stable and controllable.
The output stage is designed to avoid limiting even at high levels. This preserves the dynamics without compression or audible artifacts. Simultaneously, a high damping factor ensures precise control in the low-frequency range.
Consistent performance across the entire frequency range
The Statement M1's frequency response remains extremely linear across the entire audible range – regardless of the connected load. Deviations are minimal, even at low impedances.
The power bandwidth also reflects the technical design: 1000 watts into 8 ohms are available across an extended frequency range of 5 Hz to 45 kHz. This not only covers the entire audible range but also ensures stable processing of complex signal components.
Low distortion and high signal-to-noise ratio
Distortion levels remain low across a wide range of power outputs. Even at high output levels, the total harmonic distortion (THD) is below practically relevant thresholds. This is complemented by a high signal-to-noise ratio, which enables clean and detailed reproduction – even at low volumes.
Efficiency and thermal behavior
A key advantage of the M1 is its high efficiency. The low heat generation allows not only energy-efficient operation but also flexible installation options. Multiple units can be integrated into racks or stacked without thermal issues.
In addition, the amplifier operates mechanically almost silently, making it suitable for quiet listening environments.
Compact design, flexible integration
With a height of less than 6 cm (including feet), the Statement M1 can be easily integrated into existing systems. Despite its compact design, mechanical stability is maintained, while high-quality connection options ensure reliable signal transmission.
