The PowerZone Connect 1002 from the Connect 2U series is a sophisticated Class-D amplifier offering outstanding reliability, flexible system configuration, and excellent energy efficiency. It was specifically designed for use in professional audio installations that demand both high performance and ease of use.
Versatile support for Lo-Z and Hi-Z systems
The amplifier offers full compatibility with low-impedance loudspeakers (2 Ω to 16 Ω) as well as constant-voltage loudspeakers (70V/100V) used in larger or more complex installations. Thanks to intelligent proportional power allocation in Lo-Z and Hi-Z modes, the connected loudspeakers can be supplied with optimal power depending on their type, without the need for separate amplifier channels. This enables seamless integration of different loudspeaker types within a single system.
Compact design for flexible integration
The PowerZone Connect 1002's slim 2U design allows for easy integration into standard AV racks and equipment rooms, allowing the amplifier to be placed in a variety of installation environments. Despite its compact size, it delivers impressive power that's more than sufficient for medium to large installations.
Wireless system control via Wireless Access Point (WAP)
The PowerZone Connect 1002 is equipped with a built-in wireless access point (WAP), enabling easy connection and system setup via Wi-Fi. This feature allows for quick, wireless system setup and control without the need for additional cables or a complex network structure. This makes installation even easier and more flexible, especially in temporary or challenging installation scenarios.
Simple control and extensive DSP configuration
The PowerZone Control web app provides a powerful and user-friendly control solution. The web-based interface allows for easy configuration of all the amplifier's DSP functions. Key features include parametric equalizers, filters, volume control, delay settings, and preset management—perfect for adapting to the acoustic requirements and spatial conditions of each installation.
