Mc fans have been waiting for this for a long time: The MCD350 AC is a fantastic SACD/CD player that shows all McIntosh virtues, such as the rock-solid, very high-quality construction, the symmetrical XLR stereo outputs and the McIntosh-typical look with the glass front and the aluminum end strips.
For optimal SACD/CD enjoyment, the drive in the MCD350 AC reads data at twice the speed and stores it in a buffer for better error correction and accuracy when reading the data. The symmetrical 2-channel 32-bit 192kHz DAC then delivers an analogue signal of the highest quality to the connected amplifier. Digital outputs (RCA and optical) are also provided should an external DAC be used.
The special power supply of the 'Linear Power Supply' has a multi-regulated special R-Core Power Transformer, which ensures stable operation even if the power line fluctuates in the supply. The even LED front panel lighting is achieved by several LEDs with an extra long service life.
The solid die-cast aluminum tray underlines the premium nature of the new McIntosh SACD/CD player and the famous McIntosh illuminated glass front ensures the MCD350 AC's beauty will last for years to come.
