Oversampling digital filter with extremely low distortion

With digital signals, aliasing occurs as a result of sampling due to the mirror images of the signal. The oversampling filter, using the Technics algorithm, carefully removes this unwanted mirror image down to the -160 dB threshold - or lower - and therefore reproduces a sound image with rich spatial expression.

High-Res Re-Master

Sources such as CDs and other compressed formats can also offer a completely new music experience thanks to the latest playback technology. In order to improve the resolution and playback of digital audio signals, Technics has developed a special signal processing that expands the bandwidth and bit resolution. The Re-Master technology converts audio signals up to 176.4 kHz / 32 bit, resulting in an expressive sound image.

High quality analog section

The Technics CD player SL-C700 also delivers high-class signal quality at its analogue output. The output has a high-precision clock generator and channel-separated D/A converters (Burr-Brown PCM1795). The circuit layout of this assembly is symmetrical to avoid interference between the two channels. The signal paths are kept as short as possible to minimize signal loss. The result is a clear, expressive sound image.

Torsion-resistant metal double chassis

The metal dual chassis consists of a steel clad inner and outer chassis that reduces vibration and noise. This chassis structure supports the heavy components and groups and lowers the center of gravity for better stability. The outer casing is made of sheet aluminum, which protects against electromagnetic interference. This ensures an aesthetic appearance, vibration dampening and higher rigidity.
