With the CS 2.3, AVM continues its tradition of compact all-in-one devices and elevates them to a new level of performance. Based on the in-house AVM X-Stream Engine®, the system combines state-of-the-art streaming technology with innovative features and a completely redesigned control interface via the RCX app.

The new streaming platform supports all high-resolution formats – including DSD (128) – and, thanks to its pure software architecture, is future-proof and expandable through online updates. In addition to an HDMI (ARC) interface, modern Bluetooth, versatile digital inputs, and a USB-A port, the CS 2.3 also offers a powerful phono preamplifier for MM and MC cartridges. New digital outputs with volume control have also been added.

The CS 2.3 also represents a significant sonic improvement over its predecessor, the CS 2.2. The newly developed amplifier stages are based on those of the larger CS 8.3 and deliver 140 watts of continuous power per channel – powerful enough for any speaker combination. The latest ESS D/A converter (9038 Q2M) is used for digital signal processing, reproducing all high-resolution formats with precision and rich detail.

Visually, the CS 2.3 is available in aluminum silver or black, and optionally as an elegant CELLINI version with a chrome front. Like all AVM Inspiration devices, it is handcrafted in Malsch, Germany. Close collaboration with regional suppliers and intensive quality controls at every stage of production – supplemented by a multi-day break-in period – guarantee maximum reliability. The CS 2.3 comes with a 2-year warranty, which can be extended to 4 years through online registration.
