AVM AS 2.3 All in One

Following the tradition of developing compact all-in-one devices with uncompromising sound quality, the new high-performance integrated amplifier INSPIRATION AS 2.3 was created based on the AVM X-STREAM Engine®. AVM incorporated its extensive hi-fi expertise, dating back to the 1990s. Numerous innovations have been integrated into the development of the AS 2.3, including the new RC X App, which allows complete control of the AS 2.3.

Towers of equipment and overflowing cable clutter become obsolete, yet all modern connections are still available. For example, you can connect your television via the HDMI ARC port and enjoy the convenience of operation. Digital inputs are available for additional external digital sources. And of course, the AVM AS 2.3 features several analog inputs, including connections for your turntable with MM or MC cartridges. This small but powerful streaming amplifier is based on AVM's flagship all-in-one CS 8.3 and is essentially its mini version. The 34 cm slim, screwless precision housing ensures the same high-quality impression and does justice to the AVM hi-fi manufacturer.

THE NEW APP

The main focus was on a completely modernized app control: The RC X app is clearly laid out and includes all the essential functions needed for intuitive operation. The well-designed user interface makes managing even large music collections on your NAS or from your preferred streaming service a breeze. The AVM RC X app is available for both iOS (Apple) and Android devices.

Streaming at AVM

The new AVM X-STREAM Engine® can stream all high-resolution formats, including DSD (256). This streaming engine is a completely software-based, in-house development by AVM. This allows for easy and future-proof online updates of the AS 2.3. An HDMI (ARC) interface for convenient connection to your TV is included, as is modern Bluetooth connectivity. Additional digital inputs and a USB-A port are also available. New digital outputs with adjustable levels are also included.
The digital section in the AS 2.3 was completely redesigned from the ground up as part of the redesign. A selected ESS digital-to-analog converter from the new generation (9038 Q 2 M) is used, which impacts all digital areas and delivers top-tier sound quality.

HIGH-QUALITY ANALOGUE INPUT STAGE

Further attention was paid to the high-performance phono input stage for MM and MC cartridges. This high-precision input stage was completely redesigned for use in the compact AS 2.3. The ideal interface eliminates the need for an external phono preamplifier and ensures high-quality analog performance even with high-end turntables, such as the AVM Rotation.

MADE IN GERMANY

The AS 2.3 is available in aluminum silver or black, or as an elegant CELLINI version with a chrome-plated and hand-polished front. Like all AVM INSPIRATION devices, the AS 2.3 is handcrafted at the factory in Malsch, Germany. The vast majority of suppliers, for example, for the precision-engineered housing components, are also located in the immediate vicinity. Intensive quality controls during all production steps and a multi-day break-in period for each device ensure AVM's promise of maximum reliability and exemplify excellent German hi-fi quality.
