T+A CALA CDR V 1.4 Streaming CD Receiver

The larger model of the CALA® receivers is the CALA® CDR. It is designed like the CALA® SR in terms of concept and equipment, but also has a high-quality CD drive, output stages that are twice as powerful and a high-performance power supply. More than 100 watts of continuous power are available per channel and also allow the operation of large loudspeakers. The housing is therefore larger and heavier, but still very compact and has the same design language and proportions as the CALA® SR. Since both devices are equipped with the identical motherboard, they also have the same music sources and connection options.
Thanks to the powerful digital signal processor, operation can be conveniently adjusted to the individual system configuration. Unneeded inputs can be switched off, for example, and an analog input can be switched in sensitivity to act as a phono MM and high output MC preamp. The surround pass-through mode is possible for operation in a surround system.
Various sound fields are available to achieve the best possible sound under different installation conditions and also when using smaller loudspeakers. The bass management regulates all settings when using subwoofers / satellite systems.
