The RS451 from HiFi ROSE redefines network streaming: a compact, powerful device that combines cutting-edge digital audio technologies with a clean, user-friendly design. Building on the architecture of the flagship RS151, it presents itself as an ideal solution for desktop setups and demanding audio environments.

At its heart is an ES9027PRO DAC with separate circuits for pre-out and headphone output. This separation guarantees detailed and interference-free playback—whether connected to a high-quality hi-fi system or directly via headphones. Four dedicated amplifiers ensure precise impedance matching, minimal noise levels, and powerful, stable drive.

High-end headphones in focus

• At the heart of the device is the ES9027PRO DAC from ESS, which supports high-resolution formats up to PCM 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD512.

Streaming and Connectivity

The RS451 supports all common platforms: Spotify Connect, TIDAL (incl. MQA), Qobuz, Apple Music, Roon Ready, DLNA/UPnP, Bluetooth 5.4 aptX and AirPlay.
Thanks to HDMI eARC, it can be connected directly to the TV, while USB, optical and coaxial inputs/outputs as well as balanced and unbalanced analog outputs offer maximum flexibility.

Three USB ports and an SSD slot (up to 4 TB) are available for local music libraries, including CD ripping with an external drive.

Advanced DAC architecture

The ES9027PRO is a high-resolution 32-bit DAC optimized for audiophile applications. With a dynamic range of up to +124 dB and a THD+N value of 114 dB, it delivers exceptionally clean sound reproduction. PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD512 are fully supported, while seven digital filters allow for customized sound shaping. The parallel 4-channel stereo configuration maximizes dynamic range and further reduces the noise floor.

Dedicated headphone architecture

A second ES9027PRO DAC is dedicated exclusively to the headphone output. Separate power supplies and grounding for both DACs effectively suppress interference and ensure high-precision signal processing. Four high-performance amplifiers with independent drive deliver stable performance even with high-impedance headphones. The extremely low distortion remains constant across the entire impedance range—for a transparent, detailed soundstage.

With an ultrafast slew rate of 1300 V/µs, the headphone amplifier ensures precise impulse reproduction. Even the finest dynamic differences are clearly reproduced, while consistent linearity ensures pristine music reproduction – regardless of genre or source.

ROSE NRA™ filter

The analog output stage is equipped with the ROSE NRA™ (Noise Reduction Analog) filter , which ensures linear reproduction even in the low-frequency range. This ensures consistent sound characteristics across the entire frequency spectrum—detailed, clear, and free of distracting artifacts.

Powered by the modern RK3588 8-core CPU , the RS451 combines quadruple the processing power with eightfold the graphics performance. With 8 GB of DRAM and 32 GB of eMMC storage, it handles large music files as effortlessly as high-resolution 4K HDR video.
