The preamplifier is the control center of every high-quality stereo system. In the age of digitization, comprehensive digital equipment is essential - and makes perfect sense as an integral part of the preamplifier. The Pro-Ject Pre Box RS2 Digital is the big brother of our award-winning and groundbreaking Pre Box S2 Digital. Based on the principles of this design, we have again expanded the range of functions. The result is a fantastic sounding and very versatile preamp with both digital and analogue inputs. The Pro-Ject Pre Box RS2 Digital is the perfect partner for the crème de la crème of high-end amplifiers and loudspeakers!

The Pre-Box RS2 Digital can be connected to the Pro-Ject CD-Box RS2 T via the HDMI connector via a reliable I 2 S differential bus, with the Pre-Box RS2 Digital also supplying the master clock (16.9344 MHz). This powerful combination makes CDs sound better than ever.

Very practical: the preamp outputs a 12V switching voltage corresponding to the stand-by button. Connected with switching cables, several devices of the RS2 line can be conveniently switched on and off together with a push of a button on the device or with the remote control supplied with the preamplifier. This function is particularly useful in a bi- or tri-amping configuration with RS-Line amplifiers. The preamplifier itself can also be switched on and off remotely using a 12V switching voltage.
