The Gold Note DS-1000 EVO is a high-quality streaming DAC that combines modern network and streaming technology with a sophisticated dual-mono DAC and a discrete Class-A output stage. As a central digital source, it is designed for demanding hi-fi systems where precise, natural, and musically coherent reproduction is paramount.

At its core is a dual-mono D/A converter with two AKM AK4493 converters. Separate processing of the two channels enables excellent channel separation. Simultaneously, the sophisticated circuit design ensures stable and clean signal processing. High-resolution PCM signals up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512 are supported.

The Gold Note DS-1000 EVO offers extensive streaming options for digital music playback. Supported services include Roon, AirPlay, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, and vTuner. Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect allow playback to be controlled directly from their respective apps. Network connectivity is available via either LAN or Wi-Fi.

A particular strength of the DS-1000 EVO is its Class A output stage with discrete components. This contributes to controlled yet smooth signal processing. The analog RCA and XLR outputs allow for flexible connection of the streaming DAC to a high-quality preamplifier, power amplifier, or active loudspeakers.
