The MP 3100 HV G3 from T+A embodies the philosophy that source diversity and the highest sound quality can coexist. In developing this audiophile device, the T+A team not only optimized the sound of each individual source, but also expanded the variety of available sources by using the latest protocols. The third generation of the Audiophile Streaming Architecture (ASA G3), the innovative Path Separation Technology for separate PCM and DSD data processing and a specially developed SACD drive are just some of the technical highlights of the MP 3100 HV G3. The device maximizes all of T+A's previous achievements - in terms of sound quality, comfort and variety of sources.

EXTENSIVE CONNECTIVITY

The MP 3100 HV G3 supports a wide range of sources, including Internet radio, local network sources via LAN and WLAN, USB Master Mode as well as FM, FM-HD and DAB+ tuners. In addition, a Bluetooth connection and the integration of Connect services for mobile devices are possible. This versatility is accompanied by excellent sound quality. The device can pass DSD data up to DSD 512 not only via the USB input, but also directly via the streaming client to the True 1-bit converter for analog processing, without any lossy conversions taking place.

The MP 3100 HV G3 was developed with the utmost care by specialists over many years in the in-house production facility in Herford, Germany. The housing consists of solid aluminum parts milled from solid material and assembled by hand. This masterpiece of technology and design not only embodies T+A's pursuit of the highest quality and craftsmanship, but also the claim to reproduce music in its purest form.

3RD GENERATION STREAMING

The Audiophile Streaming Architecture G3 (ASA G3) forms the bridge between the HV series and the networked world. It was developed to maximize both the sound potential and the variety of sources. The network boards of this Streaming Generation 3 enable the processing of WLAN and LAN signals and support streaming services such as Deezer, Qobuz and Tidal. Local network files with up to 192/24 (HD) and streams from mobile devices via Connect or AirPlay are also played back in audiophile quality. In addition, the aptX HD Bluetooth technology enables the playback of uncompressed FLAC files. A groundbreaking feature of the ASA G3 is the native playback of DSD files from the network, which are forwarded to the True 1-bit converter without any loss of quality.

T+A's unique converter architecture breaks with common conventions: While conventional converters convert DSD signals into PCM in order to process them, T+A's True 1-Bit Converter works without this conversion. It reproduces DSD files in the native 1-bit format without distortion. PCM signals, on the other hand, are processed via T+A's proprietary quadruple converter, which compensates for non-linearities in sound to an exceptional extent with its double-symmetrical circuitry of eight 32-bit BurrBrown converters. The result is impressive dynamics and linearity with minimal distortion and freedom from noise.

PRECISION DRIVE

The SACD drive of the MP 3100 HV G3 stands for the highest precision and quiet operation. T+A has developed an innovative carrier mechanism that rests in a shielded aluminum housing that was milled from a solid block. The mechanism moves on two precisely tolerated linear bearings and is fixed by three screws that decouple the drive from the housing and at the same time keep out interference such as structure-borne noise or pressure waves. The low-noise and high-torque synchronous motor ensures smooth movements, while an anti-resonance weight further increases the stability and quality of the drive.

The basis for the outstanding sound quality of the MP 3100 HV G3 lies in the excellent signal processing and the innovative converter technologies. All digital sources, whether external or internal, go through the digital signal processing, which uses groundbreaking technologies such as T+A DSP oversampling, jitter elimination and Path Separation Technology. Thanks to these technologies, DSD data is converted precisely and unadulterated into analog signals using the True 1-bit converter and PCM signals are converted using the quadruple converter.

The De-Jitter Masterclock from T+A ensures that jitter that can occur during signal transmission is completely eliminated. The data stream is freed of interference in two stages to ensure perfect clock processing and thus unadulterated music reproduction. This meticulous signal processing ensures that every note, every sound and every detail is reproduced as it was originally recorded.

The MP 3100 HV G3 is therefore not just an audio device, but the embodiment of T+A's highest standards of technical excellence, craftsmanship precision and musical authenticity.
