Grado Blue 3 and Grado Red 3 are the names of the two pickups, which in their new version have a weight-reduced generator and are particularly musical. But the four-part cantilever also contributes to this dynamic and natural sound. The diamond, which is mounted in a brass socket and developed by Grado, ensures extremely smooth running and a frequency spectrum that extends far beyond human hearing. Because these two pickups are also made by hand at the company's headquarters near New York, the tonal result is characterized by the impressive musicality of all Grado pickups. The best specimens are carefully selected during production. After a complex measuring process, ten percent of the Grado Blue 3 pickups are finally marked as red.
