Computers, lamp dimmers and other electrical villains scatter interference components into the domestic power grid. As a result, the playback quality of turntables suffers because the motor cannot run perfectly smoothly, as does the playback of the phono preamplifier.

The Pro-Ject Power Box RS2 Phono provides a remedy: This linear power supply consists of an oversized toroidal transformer and thus prevents the transmission of interference from the power supply to the audio device. The toroidal transformer offers significantly more power reserves than standard power supplies. Due to the very low output impedance and the high capacitor capacity, there are no restrictions on the provision of power. The image of the sound stage, the blackness of quiet backgrounds and the fine resolution of tiny sound details improve, which leads to a significant increase in the overall playback quality.

The secondary voltage rectification with a highly precise control, the high filter capacity of 10,000µF for the output and the "Low ESR" capacitors allow the turntable motor to run more constantly and quietly.

With the new Power Box RS2 Phono you can connect both your record player and your phono preamplifier and benefit from the perfect supply. The new Power Box is compatible with all our phono boxes and any 15V/DC Pro-Ject turntable.

The housing of the Pro-Ject Power Box RS2 Phono is made of brushed aluminum in black or silver.

IMPORTANT! Devices and turntables from the Pro-Ject Audio range with AC power supply (AC power pack) or third-party products cannot be operated with the Power Box RS2 Phono.
