With the Fathom IWSv2-SYS-113, JL Audio offers a fully developed in-wall subwoofer system for high-quality home theater and stereo applications. This bundle includes the complete system, including the IWD13-TW5H subwoofer driver, the IWEv2 in-wall enclosure, and the external SAv2 system amplifier. All components have been specifically designed for use together and are optimally matched.
Complete in-wall subwoofer system
The Fathom IWSv2-SYS-113 combines a 13.5-inch long-throw driver with a sealed enclosure and a powerful external amplifier. While the IWD13-TW5H handles the low-frequency reproduction, the IWEv2 enclosure ensures defined acoustic conditions within the wall. Signal processing and power amplification are performed by the SAv2, which has been specifically tuned for the Fathom system.
This consistent system architecture results in a powerful bass solution that integrates discreetly into the living space while simultaneously meeting the sonic requirements of high-quality home cinemas and music systems.
High-performance SAv2 system amplifier
The external SAv2 system amplifier delivers up to 1,000 watts RMS short-term power and handles all signal processing for the system. For optimal integration, it features balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, variable low-pass filters, continuous phase control, polarity switching, and adjustable ELF trim.
Furthermore, the amplifier features DARO (Digital Automatic Room Optimization), developed by JL Audio. Using the included calibrated measuring microphone, the system can be adapted to the acoustic properties of the listening room.
Precision through enclosed housing
The IWEv2 was developed as a closed, built-in enclosure specifically for the IWD13-TW5H. This design creates defined operating conditions for the driver – regardless of the wall construction – and forms the basis for controlled and precise bass reproduction.
The anechoic frequency response of the system ranges from 26 Hz to 101 Hz (±1.5 dB).
Unobtrusive integration
After installation, only the paintable metal grille remains visible. This allows the Fathom IWSv2-SYS-113 to be integrated almost invisibly into living rooms and home theaters without sacrificing the performance of a high-quality subwoofer.
