The invisible loudspeakers of the Revox Re: sound I invisible series have become an integral and important part of the Revox product range. The dimensions of the loudspeakers have proven to be optimal for most applications. However, there are some applications in which the large soundboards can cause certain difficulties.
Revox has therefore introduced an additional variant since the end of 2012. The new variant offers dimensions of 625 x 410 mm. Thus, a board can be used both in the ceiling (410mm spacing between struts) and in the wall (625mm spacing between struts).
Revox offers this unit size in four performance levels. As a 20, 40 or 80 watt board and as a 2 x 20 watt board for small rooms.
All boards are pretreated with a primer and can be used in the classic sense under plaster or paint, but also as a glued version. Please note that you always use the adhesive that Revox provides, as this is the only way to ensure permanent installation.
All boards have a double layer so that they can be used in a typical drywall with 12.5mm sheet material.
The back of the universal board is protected by a plastic cover, so that the value of the product increases significantly.
On request, the 40 and 80 watt boards can also be supplied with a carbon surface. This stiffer surface offers an even more precise reproduction of the sound. In the installation area of damp rooms or swimming pools, the carbon surface offers further advantages, as the polyurethane foam is better protected, but pressures can also be absorbed even better.
