The surface of the elegant cabinet is reminiscent of a grand piano and Yamaha's unique Harmonious Diaphragm™ produces an exceptionally consistent sound. The speakers reproduce an authentic sound that is unique for bookshelf speakers - for a special listening experience that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the music.

The elegant look of the NS-600A from Yamaha combines the classic elegance of a grand piano with the design philosophy of a loudspeaker. The speakers feature Yamaha's signature high gloss finish, applied using the same process as our grand pianos and only available to a limited number of products in Yamaha's range. The elegant surface makes the speaker a stylish piece of furniture that enhances any room, regardless of whether you are listening to music or not.

In response to this challenge, the company has developed high-end speakers that provide consistent timbre across the entire frequency spectrum using unique technology. Each loudspeaker in the NS-600A system uses the newly developed Harmonious Diaphragm™, which consists of a mixture of ZYLON®, a material with excellent sound speed and optimal internal conduction, and spruce wood. This material is also used in the soundboards of Yamaha grand pianos and is essential for the sound radiation. This makes the harmonies of the sound particularly effective and the music becomes richer and more beautiful.

As opposed to simply producing a powerful sound, we are concerned with a feeling of dynamism that brings the contrast between stillness and movement in music to life and allows you to experience music with an intense and deep emotionality while being completely immersed in the music immerse yourself in the musical world.

MORE MUSIC IS NOT POSSIBLE

Yamaha's patented RS (Resonance Suppression) chambers are located on the back of the tweeter. This means that even the finest nuances of musical instruments and voices are reproduced true to the original. Two specially shaped tubes suppress unwanted resonances that arise behind the membrane, revitalize the original sound and create a sound image in which even the smallest musical nuances are not lost.

TRUE TO ORIGINAL MUSICAL PRESENCE

Traditional speakers contain a lot of sound-absorbing material to eliminate standing waves inside the cabinet. In the NS-600A we used our patented absorber tube. In addition to improving the sound, this also allowed us to minimize the amount of absorbent material. The result? The original realism of the music is reproduced with full energy and dynamism.

TRUE SOUND REPRESENTATION

The position of the artist and the instrument and even the subtle nuances and unique acoustics of the concert hall are faithfully reproduced. The result is an incredibly realistic soundstage. When you close your eyes, it feels like you're right there.

The basis for excellent sound - i.e. the question of what makes the instrument body or housing sound and where vibrations need to be suppressed - is practically identical in the manufacture of musical instruments and loudspeakers. The NS-600A's cabinet construction is based on state-of-the-art speaker design technology.

Laser vibrometers, which are used in the research and development of musical instruments, and highly developed FEM analyzes (finite element method) are used. The cross member of the case has been optimally reinforced and enables excellent sound localization, giving you the feeling of being right there at the performance. The result is outstanding expressiveness that fully reproduces even the finest instrumental and vocal nuances.

The NS-600A is a compact 2-way speaker that faithfully reproduces the timbre of all musical instruments and creates precise sound images.
