The Gold Note Da Vinci is a moving coil (MC) cartridge designed for balanced and natural sound reproduction with high detail resolution. The combination of a precision micro-elliptical diamond stylus, a lightweight aluminum cantilever, and a resonance-optimized housing made of 7000 series duralumin forms the basis for finely tuned and dynamic vinyl playback.
Precise scanning
The micro-elliptical diamond stylus enables precise tracking of the record groove and supports a nuanced reproduction of even complex musical passages. The lightweight aluminum cantilever transmits the diamond's movements to the generator system in a controlled manner, thus contributing to fast and balanced signal transmission.
With a frequency response of 10 Hz to 35 kHz, the Da Vinci reproduces a wide frequency range. Channel separation of more than 30 dB supports clear spatial imaging and precise differentiation of musical information.
MC Low Output with precise tuning
The Da Vinci MC Low Output operates with an output voltage of 0.4 mV, making it suitable for high-quality MC phono stages or corresponding MC inputs. Its internal impedance is 4 ohms, while Gold Note recommends a termination impedance of 47 ohms.
The stylus compliance of 12 × 10⁻⁶ cm/dyne allows for precise mechanical adjustment with suitable tonearms. The recommended tracking force is 2 g.
Duralumin housing
The Da Vinci's housing is made of 7000 series duralumin. This lightweight yet rigid material provides a stable base for the precise guidance of the stylus system and supports a controlled mechanical connection to the tonearm.
Weighing only 10g, the Da Vinci can be combined with a wide variety of high-quality tonearms.
