The MI systems, named Epoch and Aeon, establish the extraordinary Lineage series and are meticulously handcrafted by John Grado himself. At his workplace, he completes every single one of these scanners, which he realizes with the greatest care and without any cost restrictions. The cost of materials alone is immense: never before has Grado combined such a cut diamond on a Saphier needle carrier, in a body made of cocobolo wood and with bobbins made of pure gold.
With these dream systems, John Grado has also combined the production method of the sound-critical coils with a new winding technique. The coarse and fine dynamics that can be achieved as well as a natural resolution with incredible homogeneity characterize the music. The Lineage series are the musical non-plus ultra of John Grado.
